Travel Services

Service Description

TripToHimalayas provides adventure travel services including trekking, mountaineering, cultural tours, wildlife safaris, and related travel arrangements in the Himalayan region and other destinations.

Service Availability

All services are subject to availability and may be modified or cancelled due to weather conditions, safety concerns, government regulations, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Service Standards

We strive to provide high-quality services that meet or exceed industry standards. However, we cannot guarantee that services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Booking and Payment

Booking Process

Bookings can be made through our website, phone, or email. A valid passport and any required visas are the responsibility of the traveler and must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 25% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before departure. Late payments may result in cancellation of your booking.

Payment Methods

We accept payments through bank transfers, credit cards, and online payment gateways. All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. Refund amounts depend on the time of cancellation: 9+ days (90% refund), 60-89 days (75% refund), 30-59 days (50% refund), less than 30 days (no refund).

Force Majeure

No refunds will be given for cancellations due to force majeure events including natural disasters, political unrest, government actions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days after cancellation approval. Processing fees may apply depending on the payment method used.

Traveler Responsibilities

Health and Fitness

Travelers must ensure they are in good health and physical condition suitable for their chosen tour. Medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.

Travel Documents

Travelers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid passports, visas, and other required travel documents. We are not liable for any issues related to travel documentation.

Behavior and Conduct

Travelers must comply with local laws and customs, respect local communities and environments, and follow safety instructions provided by our guides and staff.

Limitation of Liability

Company Liability

TripToHimalayas is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other losses arising from participation in adventure activities, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Third-Party Services

We act as an agent for third-party service providers. We are not responsible for the acts, errors, or omissions of these providers, including airlines, hotels, and transportation companies.

Maximum Liability

Our maximum liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. We collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of TripToHimalayas or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our express written permission.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Indian law.

The venue for any legal proceedings shall be the courts of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings relating to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and TripToHimalayas regarding the use of our services.

Important Notices

  • Adventure travel involves inherent risks. Participants must be aware of these risks and accept responsibility for their own safety.
  • Comprehensive travel insurance including medical coverage and emergency evacuation is mandatory for all participants.
  • Mountain weather can be unpredictable. Tours may be modified or cancelled due to adverse conditions for safety reasons.
